🌍💧 I’m a researcher in water and climate science working on the integration of process-based knowledge into artificial intelligence and remote sensing to enhance the understanding and prediction of water and climate extremes.
🎓 My teaching and supervision approach aims to inspire critical thinking and promote out-of-the-box problem solving. I combine theoretical perspectives with practical experimentation—often by exploring and playing with data—to build intuition and creativity. I use interactive and open-source tools such as Jupyter Notebooks and Google Colab (especially when local installation is a challenge), and I always prioritize hands-on learning to connect concepts with real-world applications.
🔁 I also emphasize reproducibility and commitment to the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) in both teaching and research. Whenever possible, I share materials, data, and code openly through GitHub, encouraging to reproduce, reuse, and extend scientific work transparently.
